For the Maltschnig winery in Carinthia we built a dark, elegant website with the whole range. Every wine has its own page with all key facts, and guests request bottles right there.

Challenge
A winery lives from its wines, its wine tavern and its festivals. The website had to show the range like a label – and turn interest into an order.
Solution
- Range with filters: rosé, red, sparkling and white, every bottle with its price
- A page per wine with type, ageing, sweetness, alcohol, closure and awards
- Order request right on the wine page: choose the number of bottles, confirmation by email to guest and winery, spam protection with a honeypot and rate limit
- Wine tavern, events, downloads and a directions map as their own blocks
- Reworked in 2026: design, accessibility, GDPR and loading time
Result
The wines take centre stage, and from a favourite wine to a request is one form. The winery maintains its wines and dates itself.
Technology
Next.js 13 with Strapi 4 as CMS, React Query, Tailwind CSS, email via Nodemailer, sitemap.
