The Website-Abo is our offer for small businesses that want an individual website without having to deal with technology, legal pages and upkeep: we design your website personally, take it live and keep it up to date – for a fixed monthly price from €39 excl. What is the Website-Abo?

A website is more than design and copy. To run, it needs a server, a domain, an SSL certificate, backups, updates, an imprint, a privacy policy, a cookie banner, a note on the use of AI and a build that as many people as possible can use. And it needs someone who looks after all of that – not just on launch day, but every month.

With the Website-Abo you get exactly that as one package: we build your website together with AI, but with our experience and personally for your business. Every website looks different, because every business is different. Afterwards we stay your contact.

• Domain, hosting and SSL on our own servers at Hetzner in the EU; a new domain is included for the duration of the subscription, an existing one stays with your provider

• Built to WCAG 2.2 AA, with accessibility in mind
• AI transparency: a note on where AI is involved on your website, as the EU AI Act requires
• SEO and GEO: clean technology for Google and for AI answers such as ChatGPT – fast pages, structured data, clear copy
• A customer portal with project status, a checklist for your content, a chat with us, change requests with a quote up front and your invoices
• Your own CMS (Payload), where you change things yourself depending on the package – from opening hours to your own pages and a blog

You don't have to write the copy yourself: tell us in a few keywords what makes your business special, and we write the texts.

Who it's for

Freelancers and small businesses in Austria and Germany who want a good website of their own quickly – with fixed costs and without becoming a tech expert. A craft business, a practice, a café or a consultant who wants to be found online and make a professional impression, for example. The Website-Abo is for businesses only; all prices are net.

It isn't meant for large websites, online shops, integrations with your other software or custom software. We plan projects like these individually at Proplex as an agency, with a quote instead of a subscription – see web design and software development. If your project outgrows the subscription, we simply carry on there.

How it works

1. Fill in the questionnaire (about 3 minutes): no account needed, a few questions about your business and your wishes.
2. See your package and price: you get a package recommendation with all costs straight away.
3. Order: create an account and pay online by card or SEPA direct debit.
4. Upload your content: keywords, logo and photos in the portal; a checklist shows what's still missing.
5. First draft: we design your website and show you the draft in the portal.
6. Correction rounds with the feedback tool: click right on a spot in the draft and write what should change – on a computer, tablet or phone. You send your comments as one round, and we work through them.
7. Go-live: planned 14 days after your content is complete. If content or feedback arrives later, the date moves – we keep you posted in the chat.
8. Ongoing care: send change requests as a message in the portal. You get a quote with minutes and price first; we only start once you approve it.

Packages and prices

• Start – €39 a month, one-off setup €84: one-pager with up to 6 sections, changes by quote (€80/h), 2 correction rounds during the build.
• Business (what we recommend for most businesses) – €79 a month, one-off setup €184: homepage and up to 5 subpages, 60 minutes of changes a month included, 3 correction rounds.
• Pro – €119 a month, one-off setup €234: homepage and up to 10 subpages, blog and your own pages in the CMS, second language included, 60 minutes of changes a month included, extra hours €65/h, 3 correction rounds.

All prices are net, excl. VAT. Pay yearly and you pay for 10 months instead of 12, and only half the setup fee. There is no minimum term: you can cancel monthly.

Launch offer: for subscriptions started by Thursday, 5 November 2026, you get 10% off every package for the first 12 months – €35.10 instead of €39 for Start, €71.10 instead of €79 for Business and €107.10 instead of €119 for Pro, net per month. If you pay yearly, you get 10% off your first yearly invoice. Setup, extras and hours are not discounted.

Why a subscription?

Many people underestimate what comes after a website goes live. Servers, domains and certificates cost money and time on an ongoing basis, updates need installing, legal requirements change, and at some point a photo needs swapping or a new service needs adding. Doing that yourself takes know-how that the day-to-day of a small business rarely leaves room for.

On top of that, a first draft is quick to build with AI or a site builder these days, and it often works surprisingly well. The questions come afterwards: how do I get it online? What goes into the imprint? Do I need a cookie banner? Do I have to label AI? Can everyone use the site? That is exactly where many projects stall. With the Website-Abo, we take that part off your hands.

A one-off project with an agency is often the right route for larger, individual undertakings: you pay once and then run the site yourself or agree on maintenance on top. The subscription is the other model: a fixed monthly price that already includes the build, hosting and care – made for small websites.

Who's behind it

The Website-Abo is a service of Proplex GmbH from Villach in Carinthia, Austria. Proplex is run by Christoph Steiner and Lukas Stattmann, who have been building websites and software for more than 15 years. At Proplex we develop websites, web apps, apps and AI automation for businesses – our references show how different these projects look. What we've learned there went into the Website-Abo: short paths, personal support and websites that look like the business, not like a template.

Frequently asked questions

Does this take care of the legal pages?

We create the imprint, privacy policy, cookie banner and accessibility statement from templates we keep up to date, and adapt them to your website. That is no substitute for legal advice: the details about your business and the final legal check are up to you.

What about my existing domain and e-mail addresses?

An existing domain stays with your current provider; we just connect it to the new website. We don't take over mailboxes – they keep running as before.

Can I switch packages later?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and downgrade from the next billing period, as long as your website fits the smaller package.
