Gerlitzen Alpe: the mountain, live
We built Gerlitzen Alpe a bilingual website that talks straight to the mountain's live systems. Visitors see at a glance what's open, what the weather is doing up top – and how many hours are left on their pass.

Challenge
Everyone on the mountain asks the same things: What's open? What's the weather like up there? How much is left on my pass? The website had to answer that – up to date, without anyone in the office typing in numbers.
Solution
- Live lift and slope status from the Intermaps system
- Weather from the GeoSphere Austria forecast and the weather station on the mountain, right in the header
- 20-hour pass: enter the pass number, see the hours left – straight from SKIDATA
- More than 30 CMS blocks: the team runs huts, prices, webcams and news themselves, in German and English
- Newsletter via Brevo, own cookie management, redirects and SEO in the CMS
Result
The website answers the questions before anyone picks up the phone – around the clock, on mobile and desktop. The resort rates it five stars on Google.
Technology
Next.js 15, Payload CMS 3, PostgreSQL and next-intl; every integration runs server-side with caching. Design together with Infrastil.
Client voice
We are absolutely thrilled with our new website! The service is truly outstanding – the team works incredibly fast, always finds quick solutions and has perfectly fulfilled every one of our wishes so far. Highly recommended! (translated from German)
